"Try the Patch" uses the metaphor of smoking on an elevator to unveil the truth about transportation pollution. The myth of the "green" car is similar to myth of the "light" cigarette. Both are still toxic. Just as the patch offers a cure to cigarette addiction, the bicycle can end our addiction to cars. Many times more energy efficient during all phases of their life and fueled by willpower bicycles offer promise for a sustaible future.

Clever!
Next I'd like to see its sequel...exposing the ugly truth of restaurant vent pollution. It is not measured by the government and is full of carcinogens and oil.

Cute, but not very realistic for those of us that live in rural areas and have to commute a large distance. The automobile isn't going away, so let's make it as eco-firendly as possible...

what's not very realistic is a future where people commute a large distance in their personal automobiles as part of their normal routine.
(same goes for short distances)

People won't need to make responsible choices to change this behavior, the forces of Nature seem to be bringing the petro-party to an end by virtue of sheer system overload...

Just use the patch every day for all your small in town trips. If you need to go shoping or out of town, its ok to light up your engine here and there.
