A small solution to a big problem. This is invaluable information.

Because I understand the nature and profound significance of work done on this level, I understand the AgniHotra ceremonies as extremely important and valuable for this cause.
I also, however, believe in the value of discernable physical actions like those recommended by Al Gore and others.
I believe a combination of organized effort on the part of individuals, by corporations, by governments to limit actions which further the damage, with the underlying ceremonies of AgniHotra are what is called for. I strongly believe that it is work such as AgniHotra which causes change, some of which manifests as the more obvious and pragmatic work of actions such as those recommended by Al Gore.

Great! This is actually something simple that anyone can do, along with any other things that they may already be doing or may do in the future, to help overcome the affects of climate change and pollution on our planet today.

Just found your site and am really glad I did. Thanks for your dedication to "green." Trees are one of Nature's/God's greatest creations, a gift . . . a gift to be revered. There's more and more people, thank goodness, trying to educate "Fellow Joe Public," "Corporations who Foul our World," "Developers" and "Factory Farmers" the importance of protecting and healing of our planet, not exploiting or harming our one and only home. Each of us does "need to become the change we want to see". . . at this point "the change that needs to be." Blessings to you and yours, KAJC
PS
Loved the video...what a fabulous idea. I'd never heard of this practice but now feel a little more encouraged that maybe we can indeed heal Mother Earth :)

Thank you, Agnihotra is so simple and given to us by the ancients! We owe it to ourselves to learn or even to investigate. DOES this really work? Find out, learn more! www.homatherapy.org
Also a GREAT thank you to all involved in making this contest happen. Go GREEN!

thank you for spreading this information and for inspiring many to see a simple form of sustainable living, for offering us and earth a chance to live heaven on earth, and for your compassion in sharing openly of this easy technique - without asking for anything in return. Blessings to all in this effort and thank you for inspiring ME! :)

Congratulations to our Baltimore family for this short film on Agnihotra, the ancient Ayurvedic science of healing the atmosphere.
Scientific proof of the truth and value of this ancient science has been done extensively by the government of Peru. Documentation is available from www.homa1.com with additional information from www.agnihotra.org.
Stories from around the world of healings of land, people and animals can be also found at the above sites.

Great site - will try to make a video myself.
A little puzzled why you include the "Agnihotra-Ayurvedic Healing Fire!" clip. This suggests we all light two fires a day! Not sure how that will "Purify the atmosphere" or reduce global warming!
Posted by: Robert | February 13, 2007 9:33 AM
I don't expect the site owner to post this comment:
Where is Al?? Where is Global Warming when you need it??
Wait...I just saw this on CNN...Al called from Miami...yep...he dodged the blizzards and is promising warming soon!! FYI...this is the weather patterns that I have watched for my entire life. Global Warming...Satelites say no...civilization (heat) has moved closer and closer to the ground weather reporting stations.
Do you think that might change their temperatue readings. Oh yes, some stations are being relocated further away from civilization, sort of like they used to be...oh well...doesn't fit the agenda.
Study sun spot cycles and earth eco-changes if you want to really learn something green. Yep...every 11.5 years. Oh...the Artic is melting...well...it does from time to time...but I would be more concerned about an Ice Age return than Al's forecasts. Keep Warm!!

Set things alight to stop Global Warming.... Please, this sounds like a lot of Bullsh*t.

Greetings,
I know that Agnihotra is a very Spiritual practice and also a very Power-Full practice. The short video is outstanding because it gets the point across of what Agnihotra does in a very simplistic way. However, I would like to see the video expanded into a full length feature. I think what you have could be a good introductory or trailer to the main feature. The main feature could show different places around the world where Agnihotra is being practiced and how it has Spiritually and physically changed the area and the people. This video could also have a instructional section that would walk through the entire sunrise and sunset rituals. It brings so much joy to my heart and Spirit just thinking about it.
Please, if this has not already been done do it, and if it has been done I want to know how I can get a copy. I have not performed Agnihotra in a while, for personal reasons that I now see hold no water, I should have continued the practice no matter what was going on in my life, it would have helped. But because of this short video I once again understand why Agnihotra came to me through a Beloved Brother named Richard, and I also know that I must resume the ritual and continue to do it throughout the rest of my precious time left here on Earth Mother. Right now I am living in a rural area of North Carolina and no one practices or knows about Agnihotra, so such a video would be helpful in getting me back on track. However, I will make do with what is available, books and memory. It may be possible that in the not to distant future I will be moving close to Baltimore were a Beauty-Full Agnihotra community is. Thank You for the Agnihotra video and the awesome work everyone that is practicing it is doing.
Namasté,

This is scientific knowledge to help recover our normal environment: an atmosphere that nourishes our body, gives peace to our mind, and deep joy to our soul. The atmosphere we need and should have never lost.

My husband and I perform the Agnihotra ceremony every sunrise and sunset. The ash is useful in all kinds of applications, from simple plant food to healing: topically, and healing our whole neighborhood. We have found that introducing this positive energy into a place affects all in the immediate area, and our life is more peaceful. It creates a sort of "healing crisis" for negative energy type people, and they tend to simply move away. We work on a larger scale than this, but home is the place to start changes. Thanks for posting this film... and yes, it does help clear our skies as well. Even our weather is more normalized.

Heal the environment and the environment heals you. I have been practicing Agnihotra for 30 years. It has had a profound effect on my life and family. We are here in Tuskegee, AL performing this process. The grace and love for planet earth is a prority in my life. God's peace. What are you doing for the environment?

Agnihotra Seem to be a very efficient and easy alternative to major problems, specially those which the cure involves tons of money and mostly no way out. It is a simple but strong process, Please engage in agnihotra, Go for it !!!

Aloha from the Big Island. I was introduced to The Fire by Maria Broom over 20 years ago. This practice has been the most powerful organic utilitarian healing tool I have ever experienced. When you light The Fire you actually see and feel PEACE. You are also making medicine for the soil, the air, the animals, the plants and the human body! We use the ash in the garden, where we have special flowers, vegetables, fruit trees, honeybees, monarch butterflies and fresh rain catchment water. The agnihotra ash medicine works well as a salve with ghee. I would encourage anyone who has a curiosity about Agnihotra to investigate it for yourself. It is an ancient, indigenous answer to a contemporary issue. Kudos to my hometown of Baltimore for producing this excellant video.

This is an ancient, healing and purification process that can be practiced by individuals, and families and groups of people in their homes, in the backyards, even in their offices! Yes, it has been done, in a mental health facility in Baltimore and it was observed by all to provide a healing environment while the various individual, group and family therapies were being conducted. It may be difficult for the scientific mind to understand that something so apparently simple, is so complex and has such a profound healing effect on the environment. But isn't it often that way in nature - great power with simplicity.
This is a powerful tool to aid in purificaiton of atmosphere, water and soil and also for the human spirit.

Agnihotra is a very powerful healing tool,it is easy, just a little discipline to sincronize our life with sunrise and sunset. The benefits have been proven.
We can really help Mother Earth back to health. This film shows agnihotra at work.

Reading the comments left by some folks, I realize that there is some clarification that needs to be stated. Most fires create a smoke that is harmful to our air quality. However, the smoke from this ancient Vedic Fire is made from medicinal plants and woods, and includes cow dung which is known to reduce the levels of radiation in the atmosphere. This smoke is healing, rather than toxic. It heals people, plants, the soil, water and the ozone. It may seem strange to some who think they know everything....but, most of the time, when we think we know something, that's when we show ourselves and others how little we do know. I encourage everyone who doubts the healing possiblities of this Fire to look deeper. After getting over the shock, perhaps one has a chance to experience something very old, that might appear new.

Agnihotra is the amazing, simple solution to environmental problems. We have an ecological HOMA farm in Poland, where we use all the Homa Therapy farming tecniques, of which Agnihotra is the base. We have turned our previously low-grade soil into an abundant wonderland of plants. Gardens flourish, people heal. Agnihotra is key.

Heal the atmosphere and the healed atmosphere health us.
What a wonderful chance. What could not be achieved because of atmospheric pollution is now possible. We can heal our environement, our plants, our pets and animals as well our selfs, because of Homa Therapy.
Wow great. Lets share it!!!!

Very Informative. We take so much for granted. Seeing this reminds me of how our environment is threatened and being destroyed by our own ignorance's. We have to all play a part in protecting and preserving it. Great job to all the actors

AGNIHOTRA, AGNIHOTRA what else can we ask for, so simple and such great enviornmental results. This is a great solution!!!!
Posted by: Alejandra | March 7, 2007 11:41 AM
YOU CAN'T BE SERIOUS. If I were against environmental causes this is exactly the type of spoof video I would make. Could you find a fuel more polluting than cow dung? Cow dung is a horrible inefficient fuel associated with indoor and outdoor air pollution in many developing countries. It damages primarily women's and children's health during indoor use including pulmonary function -infections like pneumonia-, cancer and cataracts. Its continued use as fuel creates haze and might even disrupt weather patterns. The smoke contains a nice long list of harmful chemicals, carcinogens and irritants. The inefficient burning of any natural material is known to create nasty byproducts. Why are we polite to people who promote these superstitious ideas, people contributing to the marginalization of the environmental movement?
