This video rocks! I don't know how some videos have 400 hits and this one only has 55 - many videos on this contest are about veggie powered cars, when they are not a sustainable sollution on any large scale. Your video is creative, and your approach is very inspiring. I love the idea that this woman is brave, even though the roads are less than friendly, but the demand from those who are brave like her creates the change in the environment to be more friendly to bikes.
Right on! I love your drawings and annimation - this is one of my favoriet ones I've seen.

The different number of votes probably reflects that some have been featured on treehugger.com and some haven't yet. But before voting is over, all of them will be posted on TH.

I love it! I try to ride bike everyday! Cool music too! Super job!

Wonderful!
I did a similar thing by putting a big friendly stuffed animal in my bike trailer. Adding joy and humor to the streets is a great way to lessen the stress of driving.
I think it's also important to remind people that all lanes are bike lanes, and that you don't need special treatment for different vehicles as long as the laws and law enforcement protect everyone's right to use the public roadways. So rallying to get the city to build special facilities should take second fiddle to rallying the city to protect cyclist's rights to use the roads. It's also cheaper, and creates less pavement when everyone is encouraged to safely share the roads with everyone else.
Anyway, thanks for this video, it's my favorite so far, and got a 5 from me! Good luck!

The dog in this short looks remarkably like my dog. Those big eyes could change anyone's heart. Hopefully she will use her powers to get more people pedaling. The attractive illustration really draws you in and the music helps take you to a different place while watching. A smog mask at the begining and clear skies at the end would have added some emphasis to the point. But then again there area a lot of aspects of pedal power that are good and it would be hard to fit them all in in such a short time span. Great Job.

This video is wonderful! Engaging, expressive, and creative, it is lovely to watch, and the music works well with it. It makes a couple of excellent points--first, lead by example, and second, persevere to make changes in the world around you.

You should be illustrating books ... that we can hand out in Congress! I loved it. And agree wholeheartedly with your message. BRING ON THE BIKE PATHS!
