I enjoyed this video for it's power to inspire action thru joy. The land is the teacher to whom we must look for guidance. Carbon footprints are reduced thru long term actions based on diferences that make a difference. Listen three times.Question twice. Act once.

I love this video. It uses beautiful and thought provoking imagery and creative scripting to encourage people to delve into the beautiful places in our world. In order to encourage people to save something, they must love it. For them to love it, they must know and experience it. Committed, effective and enthusiastic action is possible from this place of mindful awareness.

I like the style! Clip-bits of imagery that add a lingering thought to the seriousness of walking forthly, stepping lightly.

What better way to awaken you spirit than to get yourself out into nature, breath the clean air, sit quietly among the animals. You will never regret it. Do it today!!!!

Combines a smart, positive, and clear message with beautiful images, and I loved the music. I felt like I was watching a professionally produced piece by a knowledgeable voice of wisdom and reason. It made me realize we need to start at a human place of understanding and come to solutions together...yes, logging hurts the planet, but what about the folks that have few other lucrative employment choices in their area? This video made me think differently about folks, we could all work together for sustainability of Mom Earth.

A very thought provoking video. I appreciated the beautiful scenes and music. I have made a commitment this year to explore this great earth more, and why not start here in my very own backyard.

Beautiful video! And what a great idea--take a vacation and enjoy our gorgeous mother earth. We tend to forget, when caught up in our busy, stressful working lives, just how magnificent and healing nature is. I'm hittin' the trail! Thanks

My elder sister faught against an incinerator for ten years and her people didn't win. She upset for a long time and couldn't make peace with her loss. Now, 15 years later, she has healed much but had vowed never to step on that polluted land. Recently she has had a change of heart, or her heart has softened. She recently held sacred ceremony alone on the land and realized that it wasn't about winning or losing. It was about a personal relationship and finding her personal respect for the MOTHER EARTH, a reflection for herself as a mother and now as a grandmother ....
She surrendered, took a large, ripe nuclear plant infested blackberry and with total surrender, popped it in her mouth and forgave herself for being so fearful and not understanding the real meaning behind a loving relationship with the Earth.
As an artist myself and past media person, your video is great, very well spoken and a good inspirational message. As a Shaman, I must comment where I am.... i know that the ice caps are melting and it does not matter what any of us does to effect or stop that, because no one can. The earth is evolving like us at this time. This happens over and over again over billions of years with humans and now the time is coming again when the gates will close for humans to heal their souls.
Your video shows all we can really do is practice 'Love'
if that is for the Earth, then so be it, if that is loving the self, then that is your journey, if its love for a family member, or an animal or forgiving someone, then so be it. Our soul [the emotional body] moves forward with our spirit body and with the earth at the same time and time is about near its close.
Love Mary Novak

I thought that video was awesome!! Butifly done, kudo's to you Quynn. Makes you feel like getting off your duff and connect with mother earth again. The world we've created for ourselves in "City Life" has left us out of touch with the reality, that we're out of touch (with nature). I like the message this video portrays...Get out, and Get in touch with the world around you. Good one!

This video is very inspiring to me. It reminds me that there is so much more to our earth than just our own personal daily world that we have gotten caught up in. 'Can you say Rat Race?'
If we were to all go out of our comfort zones and inquizitively explore what is out there, we could see how ours and others daily lives effect each other in a global sense. It would also give us time to get back to nature and relax and figure out what life really means to us.
Getting out and seeing the world can help you to find what makes you happy. This video helps me to see that I am on the right path and compels me to reach further and dream bigger.

Wonderful concept, beautiful images, profound message BUT to improve and make the impact to motivate the movement you must pace the images and sound as your very breathing is paced - using speed and slowness as a dancer or musician would - taking moments for the passion to develop in the watcher, delete the lesser powerful images as time constrains (which is a heartbreaker I know) so those images and messages of MAXIMUM IMPORT come through to the watcher with maximum clarity and impact and motivate that watcher to take on the task - the whole reason for your message - good luck and bravo!

What a delight, and how creative! You are positive and hopeful in that you encourage people to be responsible. It is hard to stay positive about the mass destruction of our environment! It is a great project, and I wish you well with the vote!

Fabulous video, Quynn! You bring viewers very creatively and powerfully to the point of realizing that it's with our simple presence with nature, anywhere, that we come to know the "Oneness" and
to comprehend the wisdom that the natural world offers us, as well as to wake up to the damage that we humans do to this precious balance. I also loved your compassion for the humans who are just trying to survive. If I am you, and you are me, and nature is us, of course we ARE all in this together.
Thank you for your beautiful work!

This is a wonderful and inspiring way to look at the Earth we inhabit. It is a reminder of all the beings that we share this space in time with, be they the elements, the animals or the humans. It takes a look at the road that brought us to this moment and the road ahead as we make our choices everyday. Each step leads to where we set our own feet, and moving in a positive manner allows for others to follow the same path. Thank you for the reminder that we have so many to choose from.

Quynn's video flows to a place that is about creating a Solartopia! I love it. Thanks for making it.

Engaging, hip and SMART. I am more and more convinced that the way to motivate people these days is through our very human desire for pleasure, beauty and grace. This video reminds us that that which we seek resides all around us in nature. How delicious! Who wouldn't want to save what makes us feel so alive?...once we remember it that is! Deceptively simple, exceedingly sophisticated! Great job.

This is a beautiful video. It makes me want to get out and travel and explore in nature. I liked the part with the people. I think the big problem is that people have lost their sense of connection with nature and other people. This creates much anger, fear, depression, and violence.
Posted by: Nanette | March 11, 2007 12:10 AM
This video is both compelling and inspiring me to do more for our earth. The music beats are perfectly synchronized with the words and graphics/photos, and it just hit me right in my heart chakra. Amen to Nature!

This film was awesome. The content was fresh- I certainly had never thought of using a vacation to help build a sustainable future! so often it is depressing to address environmental problems because things have gotten so bad. But this video takes these challenged head on in a way that leaves
with hope and a new way to address these tough issues.
I think I just might have to take a long time waiting trip to the grand canyon.
Posted by: Debra | March 13, 2007 9:07 PM
This is my favorite video on the site! It inspires me to strap on my backpack & move on down a wilderness trail. This video gets to the heart of environmentalism, the effect that nature has on our energy and love and imagination. The fast moving edits capture both the excitement and diversity of nature. Towards the end, the sequence of power plants followed by solar panels is very effective.
