Convenient Truths: And The EPIC International Prize Winner Is...

This being the weekend of EPIC Vancouver’s Sustainable Living Expo, it seems only apropos to announce the EPIC International winner of our Convenient Truths contest.
Drum roll please… “One Person” by Robin Hays. Congratulations, Robin!
Robin will receive $5,000 CAD for a sustainable shopping spree, a Jorg & Olif Citybike, and a pair of biodegradable Earthangels Shoes from John Fluevog. Not only that, but Robin has been invited to attend EPIC's Sustainable Living Expo this weekend, where she will personally be awarded her prizes on their main stage and where her video will be screened!
NEW INTERNATIONAL PRIZE CATEGORY

Let's give a warm welcome to EPIC Vancouver, Convenient Truths' new sponsor of our international prize category, open to all residents of planet earth. Realizing global warming is a global problem we decided it was prudent to gather solutions from all over the globe.
More specifically, we want to hear how your "conscious consumption" helps stave off or reverse the effects of global warming. Do you shop at vintage boutiques? Do you mail out post-consumer recycled greeting cards during the holidays? The one video that best addresses the issue of conscious consumerism and its relationship to global warming will win the "EPIC International Prize."
The prize package includes CAD $5,000 for a sustainable shopping spree, one Jorg & Olif citybike, John Fluevog shoes, and one round-trip ticket to visit EPIC Vancouver to pick up your loot and attend their event. Yes, it's possible to help save the world and consume prizes so check the rules, get inspired, and submit your video here!
Please note: Entrants that wish to enter the EPIC International Prize category must clearly state or subtitle (in English) their name and "EPIC International Prize" at the start of their video. By doing this, a U.S. resident entrant will only be eligible for the EPIC International Prize, and forfeits all rights to the Grand, Second, Third and Top 10 prizes.
A NEW YEAR'S RESOLUTION
Start your year off on the right foot, or shall we say a light carbon-foot and upload a video demonstrating what you're doing to reduce your carbon emissions. If you are one of the first three entrants of 2007, you have the chance to talk to actress, environmental advocate and Convenient Truths judge, Daryl Hannah!
